Each student in our senior school is part of a crew and has the responsibility to offer help and service around the school to the staff, other students and the school community.

To help transition children

school isn’t scary.
We are ambassadors and represent Gulf Harbour
by supporting and helping at Manly Music,
New Entrant visits to school , Supporting The Tiny Crew
( GHS music , and movement and playgroup)
and visiting preschools to read to children.
Junior Reading Crew
To help Year 1 become better
readers by being a caring
and helpful buddy
We are a group of students
who help people from other
countries and help all students
understand the different cultures
that make up GHS
To promote the use of te reo māori
at GHS and to support the
Purapura Kapa Haka.
To help the library run more
smoothly by helping to keep it
organised and by helping
To ensure the ongoing health and safety
of staff and students and the community
by maintaining the school to a high standard.
News Crew will create stories about
everyday life events at GHS.
We want to publish at least
2 articles per term.
Each News Crew member has to put time
and effort into writing an article.

Road Patrol Crew
‘Keeping kids safe with a
smile on our face.’
We greet people into our school safely.
The goal for road patrol is to make people
feel joyful inside by smiling and
saying hello. When we are on
the signs at the crossing we make sure
people walk safely to school without harm.
The Road Patrol Crew has been trained
by the police to do our signs and
make sure we get you across the road

house points to children who are playing
